Adult Water Walking
Enjoy low impact cardiovascular benefits by using the resistance of Cypress Cove's Lazy River's current. This at-your-own pace program will help increase cardiovascular ability and tone muscle groups in your legs. NEW! Advanced Diving Lessons
Advanced divers will learn optional dives such as a somersault and a 1 ½ somersault, while perfecting voluntary dives learned in the beginner class. Advanced class prerequisite: participants must be able to successfully perform a front and back dive, must be willing to try new techniques and must be able to competently swim. Beginner Diving Lessons
Beginning divers will learn voluntary dives (front dive, back dive, reverse dive, inward dive and front dive half twist) as well as proper approach, hurdle and entry. Beginner class prerequisite: child must be able to enter the water head first from the board and must be able to competently swim. Register online by clicking here.
Junior Lifeguard
Too young to lifeguard at Cypress Cove? Learn the necessary skills to be a nationally recognized Star Guard Lifeguard! Participants will undergo the same training as the Woodridge Park District's lifeguards. Participants proficient in all skills will be considered candidates for the following summers. Mini Triathlon Training
Have you ever thought you'd like to try the "Woodridge Rotary Mini Triathlon", but didn't know how to get started? Join our triathlon training class to learn the basics. We will spend time on improving your running and/or walking, biking and swimming techniques in each class. You will learn how to transition and what to wear. Expand your fitness repertoire and try something new. All levels are welcome. Those that took part in the training last year completed the triathlon! Must provide your own bicycle and helmet. Parent and Tot Swim Lessons
This class gives orientation to the water and provides the means for the child to develop balance, coordination, and strength. The class is designed for parent and child to work together under the instructor's supervision. Please note: One child per parent. Register online by clicking here.
Preschool Swim Lessons
The Preschool Lessons have three levels of progressive instruction. On the first day of each session, all participants are tested and assigned to stations equivalent to their ability. Preschool lessons are 8 days with a class length of 30 minutes. The first week runs Monday through Friday, and the second week runs Monday through Wednesday. Private Diving Lessons
Private diving lessons are ideal for participants who need one-on-one instruction. Private diving lessons will focus on the abilities of the participant in order to successfully teach participants any skill from approach hurdle and entry to advanced competitive dives. Please contact Cypress Cove and request to speak with the Private Lesson Coordinator for further information and scheduling beginning June 11. Payment will be collected onsite prior to lesson(s).

Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are the ideal lessons for children who need one-on-one instruction. These lessons are also great for families who cannot make the times of the regular swim lessons. Sea Lions Starters
Designed for those looking to join Sea Lions Swim Team, but are lacking endurance and techniques. This class will go beyond the fundamentals taught in swim lessons. Participants will learn regulation turns, define stroke techniques, and build endurance. Participants will get to participate in an exhibition heat event at a Woodridge Sea Lions home swim meet. Class does not meet on weekends. Participants must have completed at least Level 6 of swim lessons. Register online by clicking here.
Water Aerobics
Cool off while you work up a sweat! Join us this summer for a refreshing alternative to land aerobics. By using the natural resistance of the water, this class offers participants both cardiovascular and muscular gains. Register online by clicking here.
Youth Swim Lessons
The Youth Lessons follow a station method of instruction. Students are tested the first day and placed in one of the seven skill levels. Students will be taught skills needed to progress into successful swimmers. Youth lessons are 8 days with a class length of 45 minutes.
