Check back in March for summer 2021 information
Too young to lifeguard at Cypress Cove? Learn the necessary skills to be a nationally recognized Star Guard Lifeguard! Participants will undergo the same training as the Woodridge Park District’s lifeguards. Participants proficient in all skills will be considered candidates for the following summers.
Sea Lions Starters
Designed for those looking to join Sea Lions Swim Team, but are lacking endurance and techniques. This class will go beyond the fundamentals taught in swim lessons. Class does not meet on weekends. Participants must have completed at least Level 6 of swim lessons.

Advanced Diving Lessons
Advanced divers will learn optional dives such as a somersault and a 1 ½ somersault, while perfecting voluntary dives learned in the beginner class.
